Radiance Yoga was founded by Leo Finegold in 1975 as one of the first yoga studios in San Diego. It continues to be family owned and operated by Aura Fechter in Mission Hills.
We have an experienced staff, many of whom have an extensive background in biomechanics, orthopedics, and yoga therapy.
Aura co-founded Radiance with her father, Leo, in 1975. Aura is a Certified Athletic Trainer, a graduate of SDSU in Sports Medicine, a Senior Certified Symmetry Yoga Instructor, and has taught Yoga since 1974.
Intermediate Symmetry Yoga Instructor, has been teaching Yoga since 1988. For over 30 years, Dinah has combined Yoga Therapy, Physical Therapy techniques, and Personal Training to bring balance and wellness to the lives of thousands of students.
JoAnn is a former professional ballet dancer and has been teaching yoga for more than 18 years.
Suneel began studying Yoga as a UCSD undergraduate. Suneel has since, become a Certifed Iyengar Yoga Teacher at the Intermediate Junior Level and studied with the Iyengar family both in India and the United States.
Inspired by teachings of Sr. B.K.S. Iyengar. Hatha promotes proper alignment and is both invigorating and challenging.
No yoga experience need. This is for anyone suffering from chronic pain or injury. The program is customized to you.
